How to use the search engine / dictionary
Speaking a language fluently means speaking in full sentences, and memorising single words gets you only a little way. When you learn a new word, type it into the search. Taalhammer helps you remember it and shows you sentences that use it, so you know how to say it in practice.
Use the Creator as a dictionary: to learn new words and to recall the ones that give you trouble. Type a word in your own language or in the language you are learning. Taalhammer searches a database of millions of example phrases and sentences, together with everything you have created yourself.
When you pick an example from the list, you see more similar sentences under Example sentences. Click the star next to any of them to add it to your learning.
