How to listen to radio stations

Real spoken language matters when you learn. This kind of listening is not about understanding every word; it is meant to be enjoyed. Your ear gets used to the sounds and how they run together, the intonation and the rhythm. In Taalhammer you do this with Radio: live stations broadcasting in the language you are learning, at full native speed.

Go to Radio. You first see stations in the language you are learning, but you can also pick stations in 18 other languages. The stations are carefully chosen and broadcast only in their own language. Some offer news, talk and current affairs, others music, both new songs and old favourites. To start listening, press the play button next to a station.

Radio is best on the move: on a walk, a run or at the gym. Research suggests that physical activity helps language learning.
