How to create a flashcard

A flashcard is a unit of learning: a word, phrase or sentence. The Taalhammer app allows you to easily and quickly create your own flashcards and learn from them. Use it as a translator and notepad. This way you will master any newly learned word, phrase or sentence very quickly.

In our Creator, type something in the source or target language. Taalhammer will suggest some examples of usage. This allows you to use ready-made examples and observe how the word is used in practice. You can also use the built-in automatic translation or type the whole thing yourself.

Click on the star to save the flashcard and add it to your private collection. Taalhammer will also add it to your learning stream. This means you will repeat it as you learn and listen to it. We will also create an audio and a and a phonetic transcription and show suggestions for similar sentences.
