Different types of listening exercises
When learning a language, it is very important to have a variety of exercises and stimulate memory in different ways. This exercises the ability of so-called phonetic segmentation, i.e. the ability to recognize individual sounds and words, crucial to understanding speech.
In listening mode, by default you listen to words and sentences first in the source language and then in the target language. You can change this order, that is, listen to the target language (the one you are learning) first and then the source language. You can also listen only to the target language.
You can also change the playback speed. If the current speed is too fast, press the button with the tortoise, and if it’s too slow, press the button with the hare.
